Bio

A non-traditional path through higher education has resulted in strong leadership skills and the ability to work "across the house" as I have worked in Student Development, Enrollment Management, and currently in Academic Affairs.

I'm passionate about developing people and teams in order to serve stakeholders while also supporting students AND employee retention. I want to build and innovate while raising high capacity teams who are evangelical about where they work and the work that's done.

My oversight includes:
- Career Dev Center/Alumni Career Advising/Student Employment/Federal Work-Study (15 fte)
- Business Career Services (3 fte)
- PreHealth Advising (2 fte, 1 pte)
- PreLaw Advising (1 faculty director)
- Fellowships Office (1 fte, 1 faculty director)

I manage a budget of +1.3 million dollars and 3 separate office locations.

Milestone achievements include:
-- Founded Loyola University Chicago's LUConnect Alumni Career Mentoring & Networking Program (approx. 1,000 student & alumni participating)
-- Redesigned and launched the online version Alumni Sharing Knowledge Career Mentoring Program while at DePaul University
-- Created 2 Credit-bearing Leadership Development Courses for the Loyola's Quinlan School of Business
-- Re-brand and implement strategic social media plan resulting in 66% increase in engagement

I'm currently serving on the NACE Honors and Awards Committee, America's Urban Campus, and as a SASDI Fellow at Illinois Institute of Technology. My side gigs include being a seasonal DePaul University School for New Learning Professional Mentor (graduate students only), a text book proposal reviewer for Cengage and Wiley publishing, and I've had a long history in a popular MLM which I enjoy.
