Bio

Hi Everyone,

My name is Josh Frahm and I am currently the Associate Director of Student Employment Programs for the Pomerantz Career Center at The University of Iowa. The best part about my job is I am living my passion which is to help students succeed both inside and outside the classroom. From how to stand out by being an involved student to creating a resume that will get you noticed, my focus is on giving University of Iowa students the competitive advantage they need in today's challenging professional world.

Throughout my time at Iowa, I have created and taught the UI STEP (Student to Employed Professional) course, developed partnerships with 25+ campus departments, mentored 200+ students per year, and served as a consultant and liaison for University of Iowa departments. I have also developed our Supervising Today's Students Series which serves to help develop over 450 student supervisors per year through 9 developmental workshops.

On top of my University of Iowa day-to-day duties, I teach for the Tippie College of Business at Iowa and I strive to get involved as much as possible within the career development field.

I love to present to students and full-time professionals alike and do so pretty much every single day on the job, so if I can help any of you in any way please let me know!
