Bio

I am a higher education professional with experience in various departments which include Career Development, Residence Life, Wellness/Counseling Centers, and Learning Centers. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Purchase College, SUNY and my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. It was during my graduate program where I discovered my passion for helping others and specifically, young adults.

As a masters student, I interned at Fordham University's Office of Career Services and used my academic and counseling knowledge to support a variety of students as they developed their professional lives and navigated major life transitions. Since then, I remain passionate about providing guidance and support to students and alumni.

Today, I work with Masters and PhD students at NYU's Wasserman Career Development center and help them identify transferable skills, prepare their materials and learn how to effectively present their strengths to others.

I am currently a member of the Graduate Career Consortium, National Career Development Association and a part of the NACE Mentorship Program. In June 2018, I received my license in Mental Health Counseling from New York State.
