I currently serve as the University Relations Manager at GE Appliances and have been in my role a little over a year. Prior to this role, I served in the same position at Mohawk Industries where I more than doubled the intern program size in my first year. Before my switch to corporate, I serviced as Associate Director of Career Development at University of West Georgia and before that, I served as the Transition Coordinator for adult education and then as a Career Transition Specialist (dual enrollment coordinator) for Georgia Northwestern Technical College. In my spare time, I ride and show paint horses in English and western pleasure, dance in local community theatre productions, and read murder mysteries and thrillers. I also grew up on a farm and currently have a dog, cat, and bird of my own. I love having the unique perspective of having worked in corporate, at a mid-sized university, and a technical college when it comes to workforce planning and preparing students for the workforce.
