Shelagh Saénz serves as the Director of Career Development at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and has over fifteen years of demonstrated leadership in career counseling and program development. She has a Master's degree in College Counseling and has the certifications of Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). An experienced mentor and facilitator, Shelagh has presented at national and local trainings covering a variety of career topics.
Shelagh co-leads the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) subcommittee for career practitioners on her campus. Recently, Shelagh was the recipients of the University of Michigan Distinguished Diversity Leaders Award and she has also recently been recognized for her contributions by the University of Michigan Council for Disability Concerns.
